Profhilo® is a bio-remodelling agent that targets the skin. Being a product that is made up of high hyaluronic acid content, it is designed to enhance skin hydration. Profhilo® can also help improve skin laxity and texture that will contribute to overall skin quality.

Best results are typically seen two to three months after the second treatment.

Profhilo® is administered just below the skin’s surface, dispersing quickly to provide deep hydration. There is no need to massage the lumps after the treatment as it self-resolves over time.

We recommend a series of two treatments spaced 30 days apart and results can be maintained every six months as required. Individual results may vary. A consultation before the first treatment is required, so please notify us of any health conditions or medical history during this appointment. This information will ensure your individual needs are assessed and that appropriate guidance is given.

To get the best results, it is important to follow the appropriate aftercare.

In order to minimise the risk of side effects please:

-          Avoid putting pressure or rubbing the treatment area for 24-48 hours

-          Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment

-          Avoid heat related activities i.e. sauna, steam rooms, hot baths etc  

-          Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment

-          Avoid facial massages for four weeks after treatment

In order to prevent any infection please:

-          Avoid touching the treatment area for at least 24 hours.

-          Avoid make up over the treatment area for at least 24 hours.
